Panthers VS. Lions

Tonight, the Panthers face the Franklin Lions in the Panther Stadium! There is no JV game, so the Varsity Girls tip-off at 6pm and the Varsity Boys tip-off at 7:30. Tonight is also Teacher Appreciation Night so come out and support your Girls & Boys Basketball Seniors with their favorite teachers as they’re being honored!

Panthers Take On Hart County, A State-Ranked Team

    The Panthers now have a 4 game losing streak against East Jackson, North Oconee, Jefferson, and now Johnson. Last night, the Panthers lost to the Johnson Knights 51-62. After the game against Commerce, and the Varsity girls making a very close comeback, the Lady Panthers are hopeful going into the game tonight against the Franklin Lions to get a region win. Panthers Vs. Patriots

Tonight, come out to Oglethorpe County High School to see the Panthers face the Oglethorpe Patriots. JV Boys will tip off at 4:30pm, Varsity Girls will tip off at 6pm, and Varsity Boys will tip off at 7:30pm.

Freshman, Kennedy Harris, fights for the ball on the court with an Oglethorpe player. The Lady Panthers crushed Oglethorpe 57-14 in their season opener last night. The Lady Panthers will host games on Friday & Saturday in their Annual Bankers Classic Tournament.

The Varsity Girls Basketball Team is making progress with new players and new coaches coming on the team. Joe Lancaster, former assistant principal at Jackson County High School, came on this year as an assistant coach for the team. Senior (Point Guard), Kaitlyn English, has returned to the team to play for her senior year.
