Jackson County Ends East Jackson’s Season, Play Jefferson Tonight For Chance at State

The Panthers defeated the other Jackson County school (in their building) last night, 71-55. First Round of Region Tournament…

Tonight, the Lady Panthers take on Monroe Area in the first round of the region tournament, while the Panthers take on East Jackson for the third time of this season. Both games will take place at East Jackson High School. The Lady Panthers tip off at 5:30 while the Panthers tip off at 7:00.

This Past Weekend In Panther Basketball

On Friday, the Panthers traveled to Morgan County to play the #1 team in the state, the Morgan County Bulldogs. Sophomore, Kedric Zimmer, led the board through the first half with 23 points and sophomore, Kalib Clinton, followed closely behind with 9 points. At the end of the 1st half, the Panthers were winning 36-35.

First Region Win for the Panthers in 3 Seasons

On Tuesday, the Panthers put up a good fight against the Franklin County Lions and won 72-81.Throughout the game, sophomore, Kalib Clinton, led the Panthers with 37 points with senior, Cam Shaw, followed close behind with 25 points.
