Against Oconee County, we came close to a win, but fell. At one singles, Kade Graves earned our lone victory over Ryan Foster 6-0, 6-2. Kade hit with such power, pace, and precision. He was in top form and dealt with his opponent quickly. At two singles, Drake Tatar split sets in a tie against Victor Huang 5-7, 7-5. They were unable to finish their match due to darkness. At three singles, Conrad Satkofsky had a close match, too. He played brilliantly in a 7-5, 7-5 loss to Daniel McGee. At doubles, the teams of Alexander and Garrett Julian and Anderson Ruffner and Christian Honeycutt both loss 6-2, 6-2 despite playing long points and showing great athleticism. Despite the loss, we used this experience to hone us for our next match on Feb. 9 against Winder-Barrow.
