Varsity Football · Hart County Recap

The Panther Football team took on the Hart County Bulldogs last Friday for their first region game of the season. The game did not go as the panthers wanted, with the final score being 56-13. The Panthers received the ball first and went 3 and out. The Panthers then punted the ball to the away and the Bulldogs scored on the return. When the Panthers got the ball back they drove down across the 50 and couldn’t get a first down which ended the drive. Bo Reeves caught a pass from Jake Stinchcomb and powered into the endzone for an 11-yard touchdown. Trey Ransom had a 76 yard rushing touchdown after he broke a tackle at the line of scrimmage and cut back for the touchdown Friday night. Ayden Griswold made 1 of 2 PAT attempts.

The Panthers take on the Morgan County Bulldogs this Friday for the second region game of the season. Morgan County is 1-0 in region after beating Monroe Area Friday. The Panthers are still working hard in the weight room and on the practice field in preparation for Fridays home game. Come out and support the Panthers at 7:30 as they look to move to 1-1 in the region. This week’s theme is a pink out so wear you pink and come support your Panthers! Be there and be loud!
