Varsity Volleyball · Volleyball Finishes Regular Season

Last Thursday, the Lady Panthers faced Rabun County and won the first and second set. In the second game, the Lady Panthers faced the Jefferson Dragons, which was a very tight game through all the sets played. In the first set, the Lady Panthers fought hard, but ended losing 25-23. However, in the second set, Junior, Cara Wells, and Senior, Megan Milian, made outstanding spikes, scoring multiple points for the Panthers. The students there to observe the game seemed to get into the second and third set, with it being so close of a set. On the floor, the intensity was high and Senior, Anslee Stephens, proved to be very vocal, along with the other ladies on the bench. In the end of the second set, the Lady Panthers won 25-20 against the Dragons. Entering the third set, everyone was on the edge of their seats. Although the Lady Panthers put up a good fight, they fell to the Lady Dragons. The Lady Panthers are 3rd in the region and will play Sonoraville at Ringgold this Saturday.
