Varsity Volleyball · Volleyball Game vs. Chestatee on 8/21/18

The Lady Panther Volleyball Team dominated against Chestatee Tuesday evening in the Panther Stadium. They won the first set, but beating the Lady War Eagles a second time, proved to be tough. Junior, Cara Wells, made multiple spikes on the Lady War Eagles, putting a few points on the board for the Lady Panthers.

Throughout the second set against the Lady War Eagles, Freshman Katie Hitt made several amazing saves to get the Lady Panthers points on the board. The final point that led the Lady Panthers to win the second set was hard to get, but Katie Hitt fell on the floor to save the ball. To end the set, Cara Wells set the ball up for Junior Kylee Zimmer, to then simply tap the ball over the net, giving the Lady Panthers the win over the Lady Eagles.

This season, there is a lot to look forward to, especially with Jefferson coming back to our region. Jeff White, the new volleyball coach for our Lady Panthers, is very excited to be here and coach our Lady Panthers Volleyball Team this season. Be sure to come out to their next volleyball game next Tuesday, the 28th, to see the Lady Panthers go head-to-head against Lanier and White County High Schools.
