Girls and Boys Tennis Defeat Newnan in Marietta Classic First Round

The boys and girls tennis teams both defeated Newnan High School tonight at the Marietta Classic in Marietta, Georgia. The boys won 5-0.  Singles winners were Kade Graves, Nicholas Bergeron, and Kyle Graves.  The doubles teams of David Cristea/Colin McMenomy and Brendon Mitchell/Hayden Dutton won as well. Baseball Beats East 12-1 In Second Game Of Double Header

After defeating East Jackson 3-1 in-game won tonight’s double-header at Panther field, Jackson County Panther baseball team finish the job with a 12-1 victory in game 2. Tanner Crump had 8 strikeouts in four innings pitched.  Reed Drake went 2-for-2, with an RBI. The two teams will complete the series Tuesday at East Jackson.

Girls Soccer Defeats Hart County

The girls soccer team defeated Hart County 7-0 in a region 8 AAA matchup Friday night at West Jackson Middle School. Serenity Castillo had a hat trick in the win, and Lindsey Fowler, Kayley Medrano, Ivy Bell, and Reagan Bewley scored one goal apiece. The win gives the Lady Panthers their 17th consecutive region victory,

Fryer One Hits East, Panthers Win 3-1

In the opening game of a double header, the Panther Baseball team beat East Jackson 3-1 tonight at Panther Field.  Walker Fryer pitched a complete game one hitter with 9 strikeouts.  Zac Saine had an RBI double.

Track and Field Shines At Home

In the first home meet of 2018, the Panther Track and Field team had an impressive showing.  Apalachee, Habersham, Tallulah Falls, and Commerce came to Panther Stadium, and the quad meet went off without a hitch. Here are some results:

The girls and boys tennis teams both handled Monroe Area High School at home tonight, 5-0 and 5-0. Winners for the girls included Emma Pruett, Keller Hayes, and Audrey Duke at singles and the teams of Abigail Allen/Natalie Shaw and Haley McMenomy/Amelia Galley at doubles. #10 Ranked Girls Soccer Defeats Morgan County 6-0

The #10 ranked Lady Panther soccer team improved to 6-0 in region 8-AAA with a 6-0 win over Morgan County.  Lindsey Fowler (Fr.) scored twice and Ivy Bell (So.), Serenity Castillo (Fr.), Montgomery Garland (So.), and Reagan Bewley (Fr.) chipped in one goal apiece.  Dakota Robertson (Fr.) had another shutout in goal.
